Over 30 years of experience and absolute passion for carpets, Pieter Nouwens continues the family legacy, with the Launch of the MONN carpet range
MONN embraces the traditional Wilton weaving technique to produce indulgent woven pure wool carpets. Expertly crafted on Wilton Wire Looms these carpets are a true product of commitment and passion

Dating back from the 18th century, Wilton woven carpets epitomize quality and traditional craftmanship. The relatively slow weaving of pure wool yarns creates a carpet that is exceptionally durable and luxurious.
During the weaving process elected yarns are lifted to show as pile on the surface while the other yarns are buried in the carpet to addmore body and resilience. Warp and weft yarns are simultaneously woven together to form a base structure for the carpet.
The wire loom allows the carpet’s design to include both cut velvet and loop pile finishes along with the creative freedom to determine the pile height and sculptural qualities of the carpet.

The MONN collection, designed and woven over the past 8 months, celebrates craftsmanship, fuelled by a passion for life, music, chocolates and clouds. Cello’s rhythmic pattern captures an appreciation for music, that echoes the slow and bold music of the Wilton wire loom. Navigator’s structured grid reflects the precision involvedwhen gracefully gliding across a wide expanse of sky. Westwood offers the chance to enjoy the good life, a luxurious carpet, with broad relaxed stokes of cut-velvet. Lastly, indulging a serious chocolate addiction,
